Remember to look for events occurring outside of your state or country. Got an Aunt Alice in Alabama? Great! Don’t forget to send her to a Business Briefing happening in Alabama ASAP! Call her immediately after the meeting. Invite a senior partner or upper executive to join you before you dial Aunt Alice. Your senior partner/upper executive will answer questions professionally, handle any objections smoothly, and they will invite your guest to join you and the #1 team. You receive all the commissions. Important note:
When sending a guest to an out-of-state business overview, where you cannot be present, it’s highly recommended you follow this protocol:
- Call or email the contact person or host in charge of the business overview
- Introduce yourself and exchange phone numbers
- Ask about the format and duration of their meeting. Ideally you are looking for a short 30-45 minute event covering 5 key factors: Leadership, Timing, Product, Endorsement, Pay
- Share YOUR guest’s name and describe the guest you are sending to THEIR meeting
- Thank them in advance for providing the meeting. As an equal courtesy you may want to offer your business overview for any guests the guests the host may have in your area.
- If appropriate ask the host if they are open to providing a sample. Share that you will place a sample in the mail to them, right away, to replace their supply.
- Call your guest IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BUSINESS OVERVIEW and have an upper executive within YOUR team on the telephone with you. It is not the host’s responsibility to answer your guest’s questions or close your guest (they will be busy with their team). The questions and closing should always be provided by you and the upper executive within your team.

Because seeing is believing. Mingling and talking with other successful executives is important and it upgrades belief in our company right away.
